Snoopy knows the secret of life and shares it with us.
To have the key that will open every door is a true blessing. Unfortunately, no one but you should create and shape that key. It is a combination of your knowledge, persistence, character, behavior, and many other good qualities.
It is easy to develop them if you have the courage and a solid plan to do it. Step by step through your whole life. Let`s review the two concepts and understand how to be better people and professionals.
I. Planning
Dictionary says it clearly: Planning is the process of making plans for something that you want to accomplish. We have heard the famous quote of Dwight D. Eisenhower – “Plans are nothing. Planning is everything” and it describes the essence of this process.
To plan means to take into consideration the main steps that you should do in order to achieve what you dream of. Big plans without appropriate planning and consistent actions will always be only wishes.
If you are struggling with the process of planning, you can always learn new techniques in the area: action, tactical, operational planning, and so on.
Do not forget, your goals should be SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-specific.
II. Courage
Will use Churchill`s quote to explain better the concept: “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen”.
If you have an idea to do something – you have prepared all the relevant materials to present it, you have the desire to pursue it, it is your big dream – well, the final step is to have the courage to do it and not to be afraid to make a mistake.
The last words are essentials. Do not fear failure – you will learn new lessons and will have the power to try again. With a big smile this time.
How to accomplish it? – transform fear into action. Use and learn different techniques, tips and tricks to master your skills and to boost your courage and performance:
